Advertised Salary: $65,000 per year
Job Summary
Duties include curriculum design and development; instruction, recruitment, and advisement of students; budgeting; and management of adjunct faculty. Responsible for the ongoing development, implementation, and instruction of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography degree program courses across multiple campuses. Courses will be a combination of on-campus, online, or hybrid instructional delivery. Duties also include participation in college committees and participation in professional enhancement. Evaluates students' progress in attaining goals and objectives. Requests and maintains supplies and equipment and prepares budget requests. Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports. Meets with students, staff members, and other educators to discuss students' instructional programs and other issues. Assists with recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts and duties as otherwise assigned.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional classroom/lab/clinical environment. This role routinely uses standard office/classroom/lab equipment and technologies.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time administrative/instructional position. Work load is Monday-Friday with possible evenings or weekends based on needs.
Travel
Travel to other campuses and clinical affiliates is a possibility for meetings, trainings, and professional development.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution or university.
Current active registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Abdominal (AB) and OB-GYN (OB)
Documented a minimum of three years of full-time experience as a registered sonographer in the clinical sonography field
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRCDMS) accreditation process
Teaching experience at the postsecondary level
Knowledge of Blackboard or other online LMS
Holds current ARDMS registration in other related disciplines.
