Minimum Requirements & Preferred Qualifications

  • Accounting Degree in progress or obtained (Completed through Junior year)
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Experience working with or in a structured process.
  • Good communication, presentation, and team skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Self- motivated with a high level of initiative, able to work independently.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities & Competencies

  • Assist with month end close, year-end close and year-end audit.
  • Aid with month end account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and post journal entries.
  • Perform cost accounting duties which include but not limited to inventory costing, job cost study review, and cycle count testing.
  • Support in the preparation of internal reports.
  • Data mining and analysis.
  • Update/prepare various financial spreadsheets.
  • Support in the preparation of month end management reports.
